Molly returns home

Molly Meldrum has been released from hospital returned home to continue his rehabilitation.

Good to hear than Ian ‘Molly’ Meldrum has been released from hospital and has returned to his Richmond home to continue his rehabilitation.

But it is disappointing that some News Limited newspapers have published a photo of him, snapped outside his home when he is still recovering.

In a statement to Seven News, manager Mark Klemens said Meldrum will undertake a “vigorous” rehabilitation program as an outpatient.

“Molly Meldrum is continuing with his rehabilitation. He has returned home to see how he goes with a vigorous rehabilitation program in place both at home and at the Epworth (Rehabilitation Hospital),” Klemens said.

“He needs to take things slowly and in time will be in a position to talk… He continues to be humbled by all the support he has been receiving from the public.”

Meldrum fell at his home last December and was rushed to the Alfred Hospital.

  1. Yeah saw the tabloid shot of Molly today, absolutely pathetic by the pap who took that shot, let me man recuperate in peace, not have camera people follow him around to his private residence, for god’s sake.

  2. Oh good news….he will have to feel better being in his own ‘nest’….and with all the support he has….he will do well….God Bless, Molly!….
    (Shame on the newspaper…)
