James Harrison, SPEED Channel Manager, said: “SPEED News Australia has proven to be a fantastic addition to our stable of motorsports content. The feedback we received from our viewers in the program’s foundation year was overwhelmingly positive.

Increasing the show to 60 minutes will allow us to deliver more of the content our viewers love and coverage of more categories than ever before.

SPEED News Australia will be the one stop shop for racing fans and this year will be the only comprehensive motorsport program in Australia,” Mr Harrison said.

Former 500cc winner Kevin Magee will also feature on the program throughout the year delivering his unique insight and expert analysis on all things “two wheels”. Magee will join SPEED News Australia to preview each round of the World Superbikes as well as provide his analysis on the Moto GP, Speedway and Motocross categories.
