9 Comments:

  1. 7’s figures for seven news, afl, and DWTS will be adjusted for showdown match in Adelaide. David any idea for figure of people who watched showdown in Adelaide.

  2. Now with Master Chef on Sunday nights in the 7:30 timeslot when will Modern Family and New Girl air?

I hate when good series get pushed aside for boring reality TV

  3. Without The Voice, the ratings are different. I did expect The Block and 60 Mintes to do well and they did. The Block does a beter job on Sundays and with the strong lead in 60 Minutes does well.

Looking at demos, Nine truely owned the night doing great from 6-8:30pm. Big mistake moving The Mentalist and Unforgettable to Sundays. Should have kept them on Wednesdays.Tricky Business would have done well and could have given Nine a good win. It looked like 7 and 10 were close in the under 55s and suggests 7 had a large amount of older viewers. The AFL showdown in Adelaide which finished at 7pm gace 7 a boost. Without it, 9 would have either been in a closer 2nd or a have a small win. Bones and Castle improved slighty with an earlier start in 4 cities but with far few less watching 9, they could have done better.

  4. The 60 Minutes interview with Gordon Wood was interesting. I knew the evidence against him was all circumstantial. It appears that rumours and innuendo had a lot to do with him being convicted in the first place, so much for “beyond reasonable doubt”. I don’t like the thought of a guilty person getting away with a crime, but i’m far less comfortable with innocent people going to jail.

  5. Pretty good bounce for DWTS without The Voice, and Bones/Castle both held up well to give Seven the win.

At least Nine’s Sunday schedule without The Voice didn’t totally collapse, unlike Ten’s has all year without a hit. If MasterChef doesn’t come in strongly next week Ten are really gonna be in trouble!

  6. Secret Squirrel

I think I’ve seen enough of Touch. All of the coincidences and the same number appearing everywhere was way too twee, in fact, silly. However, what sealed it was seeing exactly the same piece of footage being used at three different times when he was outside the shop. I thought it might have been meant to have some significance but it turned out it was just cheap and lazy.

On the plus side, I won’t have to worry about trying to watch it on catchup when the F1 is on.

  7. No Voice on Nine, and Seven are on top for the night. Nine need to start having more consistent programming if they want to win weeks rather than specials and last minute changes.
