Airdate: Touch

Kiefer Sutherland stars as the father of an autistic son who can predict events before they happen.

I’m quite looking forward to Touch, the next US drama series for Kiefer Sutherland.

The synopsis spells it out pretty well:

Martin is a single father who is haunted by an inability to connect to his challenged 11-year-old son Jake. But when he discovers that Jake has a special gift, everything changes.

That special gift is to predict events before they happen.

The FOX series comes from Heroes creator Tim Kring.

It premieres 8:30pm Sunday April 22nd on TEN.

  1. For one minute I was afraid this show was going to air on Foxtel when you mentioned ” This Fox series comes from Heroes creator Tim Kring.” Don’t scare me like that. I’ve been looking forward to seeing Keifer on tv again.

  2. I’ve seen the first five episodes and I have to admit, Touch shows great promise.

If you liked Heroes (when it was really good), then you’ll love this. It’s clever and heart warming.

  3. First episode was fantastic! Second was crap. Third was better. Haven’t watched any of the later ones yet…hasn’t gripped me like I wanted it to

Jack Bauer + the guy who made Heroes is a good combination though…certainly better than most of the crap reality and crime procedurals that litter FTA television

  4. Watched the premiere when it first screened and really liked it. Had me hooked. Even made me cry. I’ll be watching it on Ten but if they don’t start it at 8.30 i won’t bother.

  5. Yeah, looks promising. There’s nothing else that I’m committed to at that time altho’ if Prophets of Science Fiction on SBS is any good, I’ll watch that on catchup. Just hope Mr Kring has learnt his lesson from Heroes.

  6. So the embargo is finally over. I might watch this it all depends on the ABC or SBS. I guess this also means you can add it to the Coming Soon section too. 😉
