11 Comments:

  1. And of course Channel 10 are proud to present it’s advertisers with possibly what could be considered the worst content on FTA, but “seriously” woeful ratings !

  2. I’ll admit I’m seriously thinking of turning off the TV after SBS News until 9.30pm tonight and it isn’t just because of one channel.

Also I think The Universe is wasted on Friday. I’d watch it 8.30pm tonight (Saturday ) as long as it ends on time. That way it would be science documentaries and sci fi night. At least for me.

I too am loving Phyne Fisher and thank you again ABC for an excellent series. I hope these kind of shows continue. I’d watch! Too bad SBS keeps programming Titanic documentaries against this and the Time Traveller’s Guide. I’d watch them normally. But I liked that dambusters documentary/recreation they showed. I look forward to next week.

  3. Wow what fabulos ratings for Young talent time with ratings like that is is guaranteed to be another season you know your show is a massive success when it is beatn by the bold and the beautiful

  4. Don’t get too carried away Idiotbox. Miss Fisher is doing well & offers a great alternative to those who dislike footy. But don’t fool yourself that the footy isn’t rating well. Remember its only 3 cities for the AFL & 2 cities for the NRL.

  5. What happened to Young Talent Time. What were there figures. It is not looking good for YTT. Friday night is not a good time for this show.

  6. Absolutely fantastic result to see Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries and the ABC thrashing the competition each Friday night. Big wake up call for the networks. Seems the days of the stereotype that we are a nation of footy mad, pie eating meat heads is thankfully over.
Viewer numbers have been dwindling over recent years with the internet being blamed. It’s time for the networks to do some audience research and realise there are large numbers out there starved and waiting to actually be entertained by something more than sport and home renovation shows.
So as Phryne is of a different era, maybe it’s time for the networks to cast back to a time before it was considered that ex footballers made good on air talent.
