10 Comments:

  1. The Block is for bogans and these ratings show Australia is full of them!

Wasn’t going to watch Masterchef this year but I am really liking the contestants

  2. Totally agree, bettestreep, The Block is an embarrassment, such a terrible show.

MuchoTB, if my memory serves me correctly, The Block format was sold to the UK about 8 years ago. A version was produced but was quickly canned due to appalling ratings.

  3. The Block is freakin terrible – who on earth watches this crap?

I reckon if they made a show like this in America it would be axed after one season, yet here it averages close to 2 million viewers on some weeknights

  4. bettestreep2008

I’m embarrassed that The Block is still rating so highly.

Watching a bunch of white yuppies run around a hardware store is not my idea of quality television.

    Shame Australia.
