This month’s Live in the Studio forum at ACMI in Melbourne looks at cult-hit Sons of Anarchy.

For four powerful seasons the members of the Sons of Anarchy motorcycle club have brought their own brand of gun running, drug dealing, bike riding mayhem to television screens.

With a fifth season right around the corner, Jax, Opie, Clay, Tig, Chibs, Gemma and Bobby Elvis will be back on the streets of Charming, California, and bringing another brutal chapter of the compelling TV saga.

Join Boxcutter Josh Kinal, cultural commentator Clementine Ford and Green Guide editor Andrew Murfett – who will offer some insider information, after visiting the set of Sons of Anarchy in 2011 – as they explore the bad boys and girls of SAMCRO, and look back at one of the most talked about series on the box.

One Thursday each month in ACMI’s television studio, Studio 1, a collection of pop-culture commentators, academics and industry experts and luminaries get together to present a night fits somewhere between analysis and entertainment, allowing audiences to revel in TV past and present.
