Money-spinning sitcom Two and a Half Men will return to CBS for a 10th season with slight pay increases for the three leads.

Money-spinning sitcom Two and a Half Men will return to CBS for a 10th season after deals with stars Ashton Kutcher, Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones were secured.

Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that Kutcher will make slightly more than the $700,000 to $725,000 per episode (around $15 million – $16 million). Cryer is believed to make a little less than that, and Jones, who earns about half what Kutcher does.

Without Charlie Sheen the sitcom slipped in the the latter part of the season, but still managed to post gains in all key demographics.

The show will also undergo a change in showrunners with writer-producers Don Reo and Jim Patterson to co-run the series alongside co-creator Chuck Lorre.

Current showrunner Lee Aronsohn becomes an executive consultant.

  1. I still like this show. Ashton Kutcher is a great addition. The only thing I don’t like is Courtney Thorne Smith’s character, who becomes more crude and un-lady like with each episode.

  2. IMO the 2.5 Men should all now be on the same rate, I know he doesn’t do much but why should Angus T. Jones get half of what the other 2 guys make?

That said the show (here at least) is dieing in the ratings now it’s been pushed later into the night on Nine.
