Final four for The Voice

Karise, Sarah, Rachael and Darren will battle for the title of The Voice 2012.

Karise Eden, Sarah De Bono, Rachael Leahcar and Darren Percival will battle for the title of The Voice 2012.

The four were chosen by the show’s coaches last night ahead of the Grand Final on Sunday.

One will be announced as the winner next Monday night.

Missing out were Glenn Cunningham, Fatai Veamatahau, Ben Hazlewood and Diana Rouvas.

Earlier in the evening popular teen singer Lakyn Heperi plus Prinnie Stevens, Adam Martin and Brittany Cairns were all eliminated.

Surprisingly, Nine has already opened voting for the final 4 ahead of their performance on Sunday night.

  1. Also agree that Joel’s team was the weakest. I would put Diana in ahead of Sarah. Just relieved that Lakyn didn’t get any further, i was worried he’d get through on the voting.

  2. Karise has the voice, the story, her youth yet experience too and soul. Looking at iTunes downloads it is very likely she will win, I’d say 90% likely at this stage.

  3. It’s funny how staged the beginning elimination was (that is, when Lakyn, Prinnie, Adam and Brittany were eliminated). iTunes already had the show’s song list up on their site last week – meaning that the decisions to put through Sarah, Ben, Darren and Diana had already been made earlier. Didn’t stop Nine from leaving the voting lines open though right through to Monday afternoon – anything for revenue I suppose.

As with this week. Karise will win. She’s at #1 on iTunes – with the other three way behind.

  4. I completely agree daveinprogress – Team Joel is definitely the weakest. So many people are saying that one of Delta’s positions should have gone to Keith – I’d argue that it should have been Joel’s. Keith had the most difficult – but I thought Diana outshone Darren. Seal had obviously decided he wanted Karise through I think – why else would he suddenly have Fatai who has been knocking ballads out of the part suddenly do disco? Makes his decision look a lot more cut and dry, because it was her weakest performance.

  5. Thought it was strange the voting lines were open already!

Not sure why Rachael is there – Glenn was much better last night (I know she had a cold!).

  6. I maintain that Joel has the weakest team – not sure that Sarah was thebest choice for the final. Keith had the hardest choice – Diana is simply amazing, but so is Darren. I think Rachael is still a dark horse to win, but Karise has the backstory, that incredible voice, and the ‘Seal’ of approval (sorry for the bad pun). I think Fatai is a star at just 17. Glenn seems a lovely guy, but no star power. It will be a huge battle next Sunday and Monday.
