  1. @ maev syd I too don’t understand why 7 have killed Escape When it used to top the multi channels! Ate the new eps too expensive? Or they are just lazy programmers? Maybe they thought we would watch DWTS instead?

  2. Maev....Sydney

I guess 7TWO do not care about ratings….
Escape to Country use to mostly show up in the digitals….not now…with 2004 repeats.

  3. I thought The Voice would do at least 500K more than it did, I’m quite surprised by that.

DWTS finale last night was fantastic, best one in years. Hugely entertaining from the get-go and Johnny Ruffo’s freestyle dance was the best I’ve seen in the 10 series I’ve watched. Just fabulous!!! The Voice has killed it this year, unfortunately. It still has plenty of life in it though, even after 12 series. If I were programming at Seven, I would avoid placing it up against The Voice next year at all costs. It is a flagship show, they need to protect it. Personally, I think it needs to go back to 7.30pm on Tuesdays where it absolutely owned Tuesday nights for years.

  4. bettestreep2008

I’ve managed to watch about 10 minutes of Last Man Standing and Touch and gave up.

To think that Ten have put these two shows up against The Block, DWTS and The Voice is yet another example of how stupid their programming department are.

To just squeak into 3rd place on a Super Sunday is laughable.

Shame that two good shows – New Girl and MC – have to suffer because of this is reprehensible.

BTW – I honestly thought The Voice would have rated about 1m more than it did.

As for MC – just get rid of all of the non-white and over 25 yo contestants and you might just get the sort of ratings The Block keeps getting.

  5. I think Nine were expecting bigger ratings for The Voice for the final show. Last Man Standing is Ten’s latest flop. Why are Ten persisting with Touch in such a prime timeslot?

  6. Good results for 9’s shows. Will have to see how the 2.2 million will increase for the result. I would have thought those interested in the result tonight would have watched the talent last night.
