More cast members have been revealed for Seven’s new drama A Place to call Home.

The rural, post WWII drama sees Noni Hazlehurst as Elizabeth Bligh, matriarch of the Bligh family.

Brett Climo will play Elizabeth’s son, George, who controls the family business interests while Marta Dusseldorp character, Sarah Adams, is a ”woman with a mysterious past” who enters their lives.

Update: Joining them are newcomers David Berry, Arianwen Parkes-Lockwood, Craig Hall, Abby Earl and Aldo Mignone.

Frankie J. Holden will also feature.

Creator Bevan Lee describes the series as a ”compelling melodrama about love and loss set against the social change of the 1950s”.

The series was promised for 2012.

  1. The 1950’s is the place to be with Dr Blake Mysteries on ABC. I reckon Seven could have taken a bigger risk by setting this after Vietnam or the Gulf War.
