Big Brother Confidential: Aug 22

Nine launches its BB companion show Big Brother Confidential.

Across the life of Big Brother we’ve seen various off-shoots: Up Late, Adults Only, Uncut and Big Mouth.

Tonight Nine launches its companion show Big Brother Confidential.

Here’s what’s in store:

Once the kids have gone to bed, it’s time for some grown-up fun with Big Brother Confidential, premiering 10pm Wednesday on Channel Nine.

Big Brother Confidential reveals the cheeky, playful, quirky and downright funny side of our Housemates who have been busy entertaining themselves and each other.

In the first episode, the male Housemates attempt to teach socially-awkward geek Bradley how to interact with women, which leads to a more-than-awkward moment between Bradley and one of the female Housemates.

Is there an alien in the House? Big Brother thinks it could be Benjamin and does some probing of his own.

We find out if any of the Housemates sing in the shower, and if they’re not singing what they are really doing to pass the time while washing.

It’s had the Housemates on edge all week, and now the personality clash between eviction nominee Charne and certified genius Michael comes to a head when Charne reveals exactly what she thinks of him.

Angst is forming between other Housemates too. Benjamin criticises Melbourne model Ryan leading to a verbal stoush.

And Angie and Layla ponder why it’s so hard to get a date, questioning what have women done to stop Aussie men rushing to take them out to dinner and romance them.

10pm Wednesday on Nine.

  1. @SuasanP – yes, I have noticed exactly as you described.

They shouldn’t have allowed facebook voting at all, as it seems to be too confusing for people. It seems some think it is as simple as wrting the name of the housemate on the facebook wall. They actually think someone is going to come and count how many times a housemates name is written? Can’t imagine how many people come Sunday are going to think they’ve voted to save their housemates but in actual fact haven’t done any voting at all.

Anyway with regards to Confidential. Looking forward to seeing how it goes, but still it is no replacement for Uplate. I’ve noticed that behindbigbrother.com has set up a campaign on their page to get Uplate back on air. I’m hoping it is a success.

  2. BB has voting issues. Firstly, a number of fans thought FB voting was free (as per the Voice) and that they simply could put a name down on the FB page. Then there is no announcement or idea what the cost of the FB voting actually is. Granted there is an exchange rate issue but Southern Star should be advising a basic average price. Less than or more than the 55cents? Now people are being blocked from the BB page after having bought credits and they claim they can’t vote. BB states it never blocks people and that is must be Facebook. Well, no matter who does it, something needs to be done to Unblock them so they can vote as they paid to do. I suspect they should never have touched Facebook for payment voting. If I had just forked out $12 as one young man allegedly did, and now can’t vote because they have been blocked, I would be objecting long and loud.

It would also be useful if Southern Star’s Terms and Conditions sheets actually had working links.

  3. Move over Dr._Rudi..zzzz indeed.

This David sounded right out of a 9 promo:

“Big Brother Confidential reveals the cheeky, playful, quirky and downright funny side of our Housemates who have been busy entertaining themselves and each other.”

You don’t actually believe this do you? 🙂 (rhetorical)
