TEN has released the first episode of Puberty Blues on its Facebook page ahead of its TV premiere on August 15.
If you are a Facebook member, this is available until midnight tonight. In return you need to “Like” the page.
It’s by no means the first time a network has tried this approach, but it’s a great way to get word of mouth going.

@Gonzo,I find your comment slightly offensive, that it might be too good for free to air.To me that insinuates that FTA viewers only deserve inferior quality viewing and that FTA viewers are not capable of appreciating intelligent television.Sorry not trying to be rude, just my opinion on your comment.
I really liked this. Unfortunately, quality doesn’t always translate into ratings.
@MillerT1 – Are you for real?
I liked it. But even though I’ve at a 8Mbps ADSL connection it was very choppy for me.
@gonzo – given hardly anyone knew it was posted I doubt it will hurt the ratings even if someone manages to post a copy on a BT site.
Fantastic!! I do wonder if this might affect the ratings for ep1.
@MillerT1 – that comment is farcical. It was extremely understated and extremely well written. H&A is over explained (as a soap should be).
If you can’t see the difference between this an H&A, you likely have a huge disconnect between good and bad taste.
My only concern this might be a little too good for free to air television… Hope Australia’s collective IQ can make this a hit.
Just watched the first 15 minutes. If you’re a fan of Home and Away, you will definitely like this. But in my opinion, it’s not much better.
Watched it and I was not dissappointed it was a really good show only problem is now that I have seen the first episode I have to wait a while untill the second episode
Watching it now… anyone spot any errors. Things that were not around in the 70’s?
