Season Three of Louie launches on The Comedy Channel in October.

Guest stars include Jerry Seinfeld, Robin Williams, Melissa Leo, and F. Murray Abraham in addition to up and coming New York comics. Fans will meet Louie’s ex-wife, who was a silent character until now.

Louis C.K. uniquely uses observational humour drawn from daily life on his quest to find love and raise two daughters. Each episode features a scripted story and a mix of his stand-up comedy, which is original material for the series. The single-camera comedy is shot in New York.

The show introduces new elements each year, and in season three Louie explores a number of ideas from a heartfelt experience in Miami, to mid-life crises, and of course, lots of weird dates. The show is funny to watch with its signature dark humour and cringe moments.

Louis C.K. is one of the most honest and respected comedic voices of his generation, finding success in both television and film as well as the live stage. The series debuted in 2010 and in 2011 was nominated for two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series and Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series. Currently he is the creator, executive producer, writer, director and editor of Louie. The series is produced by FX Productions.
