5 Comments:

  1. It’s a pity Seven killed off Suits with the initial advertising last year (making it seem like a sexy type show about when the Suits come off). The sub 11pm slot doesn’t worry me as I PVR it, however the general public are missing out on an excellent TV Series, it just keeps getting better each week.

  2. Encouraged by their strong audience figures for the 5 o’clock News and recent acclaim for programmes dwelling on 1970’s nostalgia (Puberty Blues, Howzat, Paper Giants etc.) I understand TEN is planning a new Nostalgia News Service.

This will take the form of old news clips from the ’70’s and hosted by a cardboard cutout of Chuck Faulkner.

It is anticipated this new format will eventually replace all programming on TEN.

“This year we have deliberately set out to re-invigorate our schedule and firmly position TEN as the home of entertainment,” a TEN spokesperson confided, straight-faced.

“This idea is bold, irreverent, fresh, innovative and noisy.

“Never before have we had so many news items to offer Australian audiences. It’s an exciting time for us and we look forward to seeing these news items come to life throughout the year.

“It’s also a very cheap option, which appeals to the CEO” he added, seriously.
