Rebel Wilson is to guest host an episode of Chelsea, Lately.

It’s another feather in the cap for the Australian performer, whose star continues to rise in the US. She’s proven a popular guest on shows such as Conan.

Guests on Wilson’s episode are Brad Wollack, Kerri Kenney-Silver, Josh Wolf.

The episode is expected to air in Australia at 10:30pm Monday on E!

Guy Pearce was also a guest host earlier this week.

  1. I clearly don’t have a sense of humor, because I just don’t get her style. Maybe it’s just the shows I’ve seen. She was very good on ‘Thank God…’ though, very quick wit.

    That said, it is awesome to see an Australian getting success in America. Go Rebel!

  2. @The Other Adam…Most of her roles to date have required a similar characterisation. So, we’ve seen little depth and adaptability. At the same time, Rebel was great on impromptu and is a very quick thinker! I hope her U.S. experience extends her into roles with more depth albeit her piece with Nicholas Cage/Sofia Vegara keeps her in a usual role.

    But it’s not easy for actors outside a normative look to pick up roles in the U.S. – particularly outsiders – and for that I think all due praise is deserved. I really wish her all the best.

  4. This show is the only reason why I miss pay tv – I love me some Chelsea, and I especially love that Rebel is guest hosting.

    Will have to track down a copy to watch.
