Nine is now running promos for Survivor: Philippines.

Good news for Survivor fans (we hope) with Nine now running promos for Survivor: Philippines.
The promos are teasing that a TV star will join the cast this season, but this site already ran info on the cast last month having The Facts of Life star Lisa Whelchel (aka Blair).
3 former contestants also return.
Glancing ahead at Nine’s schedule ahead it would seem the earliest likely date would be 10:30 Tuesday October 2, 8:30pm Wednesday October 3 (unlikely) or 8:30, 9:30 or 10:30 on Thursday October 4.
The 25th season begins in the US today, but sometimes the show is interrupted by pre-emptions in the US.

oh that sucks. See that’s exactly why shows like Survivor need to be fast tracked. Reality shows in particular are so easy to get spoilers. The headlines usually “……… voted off.”
Hopefully when Seven says fast tracking The Amazing Race they actually mean it.
Grrr. Already been spoiled.
Maybe they will play it in Dallas’s time slot. Oh wait, Dallas doesn’t have a time slot.
At least 9 are consistent, we always know what they will do.
Wouldn’t it be great if a deal could be done with a Foxtel Channel like what’s occurred with Top Gear and we could be watching Survivor episodes a day after the US… One can dream and I know unfortunately that’s all it will ever be.
Channel 9 has surprised me…than disappointed me, then surprised me when it comes to this show. They have a real love-hate relationship with Survivor.
I’ll believe it when i see it.
Come on Ch9 lets not fall behind again! At minimum there should only be 1 week delay or it becomes difficult to navigate thru the US TV sites without stumbling across the episode updates….alternatively like many survivor fans have probably already done for previous seasons you have either not shown or been too far behind, they’ll watch it online.
I am not holding my breath for this to be shown anytime soon. Coming soon would mean in the next couple of weeks to me but it seems that to the TV stations it means anything up to 5 or 6 months going on their past history.
Saw the new Survivor promo last night on Nine during Big Brother. Looks good. The premise of three tribes really throws out the previous balance for the merge. Can’t wait. Also, for any other Survivor buffs, am currently enjoying the re-runs of Survivor Series 1 and 2 on National Geographic Adventure channel 628 on Foxtel.
I reckon will be at 9.30 Thursdays when The Footy Show finishes for the year.
How soon?? They could start it next week in place of double eps of Embarassing Bodies. Or 8.30 any night on GO. I’m not waiting for Nine to get their act together cos i’ll be waiting a long time. It’s Nine we’re talking about here and i just don’t trust them.
