Rove LA: Oct 14

Guests: Eric Stonestreet, Casey Wilson, The Madden Brothers and a special cameo from Luke McManus.

This week on Rove LA guests are Eric Stonestreet, Casey Wilson, The Madden Brothers and a special cameo appearance from Rove’s own brother Luke McManus.

As the fun but flamboyant Cameron Tucker on the hit series Modern Family, Eric Stonestreet has won two Best Supporting Actor Emmys during the show’s three seasons on air. When not flirting with fellow guest Casey Wilson or dueling with the Madden brothers over tattoos, Eric discusses how his obsession with clowns led to a career in acting, and comes clean on the rumours that he is dating Charlize Theron.

In addition to their band Good Charlotte, Benji and Joel Madden have recently transitioned their talents into a new project titled The Madden Brothers, with a new album due for release later this year. On Rove LA, the musical duo reveals the details of an upcoming tour to Australia – alongside Keith Urban!

And while Joel spills the beans on his simple life with wife Nicole Richie, Benji puts an old skill to the test and proves that Eric isn’t the only guest capable of clowning around.

Casey Wilson currently stars in the comedy series Happy Endings. She was previously a featured player on Saturday Night Live, while film credits include For Your Consideration, Julie and Julia and Killers. Casey also co-wrote the movie Bride Wars, starring Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson. Casey tells Rove of her dark obsession with the Real Housewives franchise, and a penchant for abbreviating everything.

This week also sees a cameo appearance by Rove’s younger brother Luke, or “Mini Mac” as Rove affectionately calls him, whose big break in Hollywood isn’t quite what he expected.

The one hour series also gives Rove’s take on the LA way of life, providing a weekly slice of Hollywood that takes viewers beyond the tourist traps to discover why the phrase ‘Only in LA’ was coined. This week, Rove catches up with the owner of the “World’s Largest Collection of the World’s Smallest Versions of the World’s Largest Things.”

Sunday, October 14 at 7.30pm AEDT on FOX8.
