Guests on Rove LA this Sunday are Golden Globe nominee Emmy Rossum, actor Matthew Fox and comedian Aisha Tyler.
Actress and singer-songwriter Emmy Rossum rose to fame in 2004 when her starring performance as “Christine” in The Phantom of the Opera earned her a Golden Globe Award nomination. Film credits include An American Rhapsody, Mystic River, The Day After Tomorrow and Poseidon, while television credits include guest appearances on Law and Order and The Practice. Emmy currently stars as sexually promiscuous teenager Fiona Gallagher in SoHo’s drama Shameless.
With a beer in hand, Emmy charms the audience with her relaxed attitude as she sings an operatic rendition of a children’s nursery rhyme, gives her interpretation of the Gangnam Style dance (in 5-inch heels), shares an interesting hobby that has taken her to new heights, and tells what she really looks for in a man.
Actor Matthew Fox is best known for his role on the long running, supernatural drama series Lost, and before that Party of Five. For his latest film Alex Cross, currently showing in cinemas, Matthew underwent a massive physical transformation to play the role of Picasso, a psychotic serial killer. Looking more chilled out than psychotic, Matthew reveals to Rove why his greatest fear nearly stopped him from accepting the role.
Actress, author and stand-up comedian Aisha Tyler is a familiar face on the small screen, having appeared on many hit shows including Ghost Whisperer, Friends, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and 24. She is currently co-host of the CBS talk show The Talk, and voices superspy Lana Kane on The Comedy Channel’s animation comedy Archer.
Describing herself as “a 12-year-old white boy trapped in a black woman’s body”, Aisha discusses the crazy way she deals with her OCD, before professing her love for Korean pop music (“K-pop is the best music in the world”) that started well before the current PSY phenomenon.
The one hour series also gives Rove’s take on the LA way of life, providing a weekly slice of Hollywood that takes viewers beyond the tourist traps to discover why the phrase ‘Only in LA’ was coined. This week, Rove catches up with a group of Pez Dispenser collectors where he proudly shows off his own impressive collection in a bid to join their exclusive club.

I use to love Rove on Ch10 but this show is extremely painful, it actually makes me dislike Rove..which i never thought possible.
Unfortunately none of the guests interest me very much..let’s hope the entertainment factor improves alot from last week’s show.Eric Stonestreet was trying to be so butch in the interview , he was not very interesting to watch
