TEN picks up new David Attenborough titles

TEN has licensed a package of new David Attenborough including Africa plus Penguins: Spy In The Huddle.

TEN has licensed a package of David Attenborough Natural History programmes from BBC Worldwide Australasia, including new titles.

The deal includes the latest Natural History series Africa, which has filmed wildlife over four years with state of the art cameras.

It also includes Attenborough: 60 Years in the Wild plus Penguins: Spy In The Huddle, travelling to Antarctica and the southern oceans.

In addition, the deal includes Attenborough classics such as The Life of Mammals and Life in Cold Blood, currently screening on Saturdays. The deal also includes Outback Wrangler produced by Freehand.

Beverley McGarvey, Network TEN’s Head of Programming: “Sir David Attenborough is arguably the world’s best-known natural history filmmaker and we are delighted that our viewers will have the opportunity to experience some of his latest and greatest work.”

  1. If they all end up on 6.30pm then I can’t watch it because they’re against SBS News. As a thought why not repeat them on a better time on One. So people wanting to see the HD can. Also people that can’t watch due to the 6.30pm clash also might be able to. All I ask is don’t clash with Supernatural and Star Trek or the like. Probably won’t happen anyway. But just an idea.

    Addendum: At the moment Tuesdays 8.30pm have been a dead zone. Might not always be.
