Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome: trailer

Battlestar Galactica prequel gets a web-only release.

A trailer has been released for Battlestar Galactica prequel Blood and Chrome.

This is getting a web-only premiere on The Machinima Interactive Film Festival YouTube channel, from November 9th. The film will be broken up into 10, seven- to 12-minute episodes online until February and will remain on Machinima until April.

Hopefully this won’t be geo-blocked for Aussie viewers, but that remains to be seen.

It will be followed by its Syfy premiere in the US, with the date to be announced later.

The film takes place in the midst of the first Cylon war. As the battle between humans and their creation, the sentient robotic Cylons, rages across the 12 colonial world, gifted fighter pilot William Adama (Pasqualino), finds himself assigned to one of the most powerful battlestars in the Colonial fleet: the Galactica. Full of ambition and hungry for action, Adama quickly finds himself at odds with his co-pilot, the battle-weary officer Coker (Cotton). With only 47 days left in his tour of duty, Coker desires an end to battle as much as Adama craves its onset.

  1. I know Hulu and such sites are geoblocked, but has there been geoblocked YouTube videos?

I hold no hope for SyFy to make this into a series, and honestly I’d rather wait for this to air as one complete movie/pilot next year whenever it surfaces. SyFy are dead to me now anyway.

  2. I’m excited for this, but as many others are saying, “why isn’t being made into a series”? Sadly Syfy seem to be more preoccupied with WWE content these days than supporting franchises like this.

  3. Not as good as the trailer that was out a while ago.

I have to say, this must suck. Or else why not make it a series?

The last trailer basically had everyone going, ‘that looks amazing, make it a series.’
