No more Sundays for The Project

Presumably The Project team will be relieved to know there are no more Sunday editions requiring them to trudge into Como on their weekends.

With The Simpsons back in place from this Sunday, last night’s was the final Sunday edition. Next week the show moves to 6:30pm in summer mode.

Here’s what’s in store for this week:

We’re thrilled to annouce that Trinidadian-born, American rapper and downright superstar Nicki Minaj will touch down on The Project desk tonight! Fresh from the judging panel of the new American Idol alongside Keith Urban and Mariah Carey, Minaj will dish the dirt and let local fans know what to expect on her Pink Friday Reloaded Tour. Our only question is, what colour will her hair be?

Also this week, our latest Aussie done good, Rebel Wilson chats to the panel about her new film Pitch Perfect. The chef that made Gordon Ramsay cry; British food icon Marco Pierre White crosses to the desk with a sneak peak at the brand new Melbourne MasterChef kitchen.

Wednesday sees us look at the much publicised move to legalise marijuana in some states across America and we meet MC Wheels; a young Australian rapper with hopes of becoming a voice for the disabled community.

Plus all the news, not as you know it. The Project, weekdays 6pm, on TEN.

  1. Ten sandwiching the stale old Simpsons between news and current affairs (The Project)?

Just when you think Ten has reached rock bottom they just keep getting more and more bizarre.

  2. So 6.30 is now a permanent move? wow, and Simpsons back to its 6.00 slot? I thought 11 was meant to be their home.

Might as well bring Neighbours back again and have The Project at 7pm once again.

  3. Is The Project shift to 6.30 only for summer or a permanent shift? From the ads, it’s all about The Simpsons coming ‘home’ to 6pm on TEN, not just a summer holiday..
