Seven’s week almost a clean sweep

Ratings: Seven very nearly took the lot last week as it had done so often in 2011, but which show stopped a clean sweep?

The penultimate week of the 2012 ratings year was very nearly the kind of clean sweep that defined Seven’s 2011 ratings year.

Seven led in network, primary, multichannels, key demos 16-39, 18-49, 25-54, every city and every night -except for Sunday. Hamish and Andy‘s numbers on Sunday helped Nine to stop a Seven king hit.

Seven dominated the week thanks to The X Factor, which surged over the 2 million margin. But it has to be said, with the end of the ratings line a week away some schedules are treading water with very little of their premium content.
