Thanks for your reply David. NCIS is rating better than i first thought…although not as good as past seasons.
David,
I am wondering if you could tell me please, why the NCIS ratings for Lost at Sea on Tuesday the 6th November is stated here as 849,000, yet on the Free to Air ratings site it said the consolidated number for the metro viewers was 1.005 million. Do they add in extra viewing from somewhere else? Which ratings figure is correct please. (The regional viewers for that night is said to be 406,000 which brought the total to 1.413 million in total viewership) Thanks for your time.
I haven’t checked the figure but it sounds like the consolidated number from PVR viewings, incl up to 7 days. This adds to its overnight figure. Adding regional is another number yet again.
Customs on GEM was actually the last half hour of cricket here in Melbourne and I assume Sydney.
Those ratings don’t exactly set the world on fire because most people don’t care for HD sport including me and sport is going to stay on SD on the main channel until a least 2014.
Don’t expect high ratings for cricket on GEM.
Those numbers for DD reflect exactly how turgid and muddled the storytelling was. When is the ABC going to get its act together and learn how to tell a story????
