Seven has surprisingly opened casting applications for a second season of its dating show Please Marry My Boy.
In this funny and heart warming series, Mums hold the power to find their unlucky in love Sons the girl of their dreams! It’s a romantic experiment where the Mums are in the driving seat! The total time commitment will be approximately 6 weeks.
The first season was hosted by actress Ada Nicodemou.
The show wasn’t announced in its 2013 Upfronts, but it may be testing the waters to see if it can draw together a worthwhile cast. Meanwhile still no word on those Amazing Race Australia applications it called for in August.

What the? How does a show like this get another season, while (award-winning) Amazing Race is still up in the air?

I’m also glad it’s back. I remember as soon as they finished season 1 though, at the end, they were telling people about applications or something.
