Nine signs Rebecca Judd
Model Rebecca Judd will step in as weather presenter on Nine News Melbourne when Livinia Nixon takes maternity leave.

Model Rebecca Judd has signed a multi-year deal with Nine which sees her step in as weather presenter on Nine News Melbourne when Livinia Nixon takes maternity leave.
She will also have presenting duties on Victorian-travel show Postcards, coincidentally the show Giaan Rooney was on before being announced as a weather presenter with Seven News.
Tim Cleary, Head of Production and Programming at GTV, said “Rebecca is an incredibly skilled presenter and has a bright future here at Nine.”
Judd added, “It’s a huge honour and privilege for me to be joining Australia’s most-watched news service, working with such an esteemed and professional team.
“Livinia’s shoes are big ones to fill. I’m really grateful for this wonderful opportunity.”
Judd has previously had roles with both Nine News and Seven News in Perth.

Have youy seen the female weather presenters on The Weather Channel, tight dresses, plenty of cleavage, my hubby loves it..lol
Why do the commercial channels always want a hot girl to present the weather..how about a hot guy like Kris Smith?
Rebecca does a good job presenting Postcards on Nine and there is more on-air time for that than presenting the weather, so she should be fairly good at this as well (unless reading an auto-cue proves more challenging than doing recorded TV).
Near perfect potential television presenter I would think. Gorgeous, educated, articulate. Being that in front of a camera is another matter of course.
I remember when Rebecca read the weather for Seven Perth. I think it was her first media job, as it wasn’t as polished as the other presenters.
