Arena will begin screening Katie Couric's self-titled talk show next month.

2013-01-14_1821Next month Arena will begin screening Katie Couric’s self-titled talk show each weekday afternoon.

The show, starring the former Today host, began on ABC in September.

This will be the first time the show will be aired outside of the US.

Arena’s premiere episode will feature superstar Jessica Simpson as well as Sheryl Crow. Guests featured in the first week include some of Hollywood’s biggest names such as Jennifer Lopez and Heidi Klum.

Katie is timely and topical, blending entertainment, information and the stories of each day in a way that is engaging and compelling. Each hour-long episode tackles a wide range of issues – some of them important, some of them just plain fun.

Playful and informative, Katie loves interacting with her audience, shedding light on the things that matter most to them, while providing useful advice and solutions.

Katie broadcasts live in front of a studio audience every day from ABC’s TV1 Studio in New York City. Katie will screen weekdays at 5.30pm AEDT from Monday, February 4 – only on Arena.

  1. Boring, why can’t Foxtel bring back The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, okay a lot of people don’t like Leno, but he does have some very good guests on his show most nights.

Wow new content on foxtel this is a first .about time bring more new current topical shows .we are all sick of all the repeats of old shows.would love to see joy baher show on foxtel .love katie and bring back the view .especially the weeks viewing on sundays .used to love sitting back on sunday mornings and watching back to back episodes of the view.

  3. In a way it is good that they are starting with S01E01, but perhaps starting at the same point as the US would have been better, then the earlier episodes could be used as filler when the show is on hiatus.
