A 33 year old man collapsed at X Factor auditions before later dying in hospital.

2013-01-27_0117Very sad news from X Factor auditions at the Sydney Cricket Ground with confirmation that a man collapsed before later dying in hospital.

News Limited reports a 33-year-old man, believed to be a New Zealander, was rehearsing his song alone when he collapsed suddenly on Friday afternoon.

Steve Murphy from FremantleMedia, said, “He collapsed late yesterday (Friday) and was treated by medics on site before being transferred by ambulance to St Vincent’s Hospital.”

He died in hospital from a suspected heart issue.

A post-mortem examination is expected to be conducted by the coroner later this week.

  1. I am the sister of this beautiful soul, who has left us. I have attempted to rectify the incorrect information published by the media and issued by the NSW Police, but no one here wants to listen. Reports say he had no family in Sydney, yet he was identified by a relative. He was surrounded by family! He was identified by his loving partner, who was accompanied by their son and her family and friends, but his family, including his mother, sister, 2 of 4 brothers, uncles and aunt, and cousins were also there, with myself and our youngest sibling, sister, on our way from the hunter region. Not only were we grieving the loss of our brother, we were offended and outraged that they made him out to be alone. Our father rang the the dominion post in NZ, to rectify the report there, and was treated respectfully and the incorrect information corrected. But here, in Australia, the complete opposite has happened. Its disgusting, and I will be directing my next assault at the NSW Police.
