7.30’s Leigh Sales will host Hillary Clinton’s ‘Town Hall’ Meeting in Washington Live tomorrow morning on ABC News 24.
US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton speaks with 7:30 anchor Leigh Sales as she holds her 59th and final ‘Town Hall’ meeting in Washington prior to her last day in office on Friday. She will take questions from young people from all around the world.
The audience for the event will be members of the Washington community.
The interview is a mix of a town hall meeting and a television interview. The concept was first introduced by The Secretary when she entered office as a way to broaden people-to-people engagement.
Ms Sales will moderate the event, also taking questions from the international networks participating.
The Secretary will also be asked questions via twitter, and participants can share their photos and comments on Facebook and other social media sites.
On Wednesday, January 30, 2013, Secretary Clinton will hold her 60th and final ‘Town Hall’ for employees at the Department of State.
Previously, Leigh Sales moderated the ABC exclusive: ‘Hillary Rodham Clinton: An Australian Conversation’ when The Secretary visited Melbourne in November 2010.

Ms Sales is the best reporter/interviewer on Australian television… bar none.
That’s a pretty decent feather in her cap.
This could a huge step up for her. I f she does well the sky’s the limit.
