Only Carrie Bickmore could take a tumble on TV while actually standing upright and motionless, as she did during a cross from the tennis on The Project last night.
It’s the first priceless Live TV moment for 2013 (although this TEN News cross with Sam Kekovich might have made a close second if only it was real).
Unhurt and laughing uncontrollably, she blamed it on some rather deadly looking shoes.
Later on Twitter, where she was trending as #carriestackmore, she said:
What just happened then. Seriously!!!!! How embarrassing!
Maybe it’s best I stay seated when on tv!

It was a classic. Just the way she went down and how she just laughed it off and got up. Funny stuff.
@dan lucky indeed, my mum once broke her arm from falling while wearing shoes like that, she was welking in them though not standing still lol
I love how she was able to laugh it off with the rest of the panel. She is such a great sport.

Not only is she lovely but whoever does her wardrobe does a brilliant job of always making her look very stylish. I can’t recall a bad outfit on her…..and the jewellery!

I think this is the reason so many people love Carrie Bickmore. Not because she falls, but her beautiful personality. Not many personalities would laugh at the self like that – such an ‘earthy’ character. Love it!!
She was lucky she didn’t hurt herself from the way she fell she could have landed on her arm and broken it
I saw it on the Hyundai Hopman Cup when Mark Howard interviewed Carrie about being a ball girl and then he showed us Carrie falling over with The Project crossing live to Perth
