Oops. MasterChef “follows the tennis”?

Todd Woodbridge might want to check which network he is calling the tennis for.

The doubles champ told Australian Open viewers that ‘MasterChef follows the tennis’.

Aside from the fact it begins on Sunday (before the tennis finishes), it’s actually on TEN not Seven.

FYI@ Todd: They have their own cook-off series called My Kitchen Rules.

According to Twitter he kept pretty quiet after that, rather than correcting it.

Meanwhile another Seven announcer previewed Thursday’s matched with “the undisputed world No. 1, Serena Williams, ranked No. 3.”

  1. Its as funny as the day Mark Nicholas was doing the cricket and mentioned coming up after the cricket season ends Desperate Housewives will be shown.

I think Kerry Packer nearly fell out of his chair.

  2. Well, really Ch7 are just being good sports… Ch10 can use all the help they can get when you think about it. Hope Todd’s cheque is in the mail… as long as it isn’t a rubber one…

  3. That last quote was Hamish McLachlan. He is absolutely terrible. Should not be there. He can’t host at all yet has his own footy show. Roger Rasheed needs to go as well.

  4. Ha! I heard that yesterday, was wondering if anyone else picked up on it. He said it just before the next point started so he went quiet, I thought he might correct himself after the point ended but nothing.
