15 Comments:

  1. Everything about The Doctor Blake Mysteries is great….
Love the Living Room…gave up on BH&G because of the 9PM finish….
And have many friends in the US….even they do not like this years Idol.

  2. Man the living room was fantastic last night! Best show ever. For god sake Ten piss off idol already! Either bump it or move it to eleven before ti destroys everything

  3. Have noticed that over the last few weeks that 9 news is generally rating higher than 7 news in Brisbane. This appears to have happened since they changed the news reading team at 7. Former 10 newsreader Bill McDonald now reads the news Monday to Thursday. Maybe not a smart move by 7.

  4. 16-39s dont watch TV anymore.
Ten as a business will need to transform to a content rich online model + broadcast over the next 5 years.
Young people dont want to be spoon fed crap content anymore. This demo will also be heavily influenced by online conversation around the best content.
To succeed, Ten must 1) produce or secure rights to the best content 2) deliver innovative strategies to capture and compel and audience to watch/consume/buy content and 3) build great advertising strategies around it.
Right now I dont think they have a clue what they are doing or a plan for a post-broadcast world.

  5. Is Channel Ten trying to kill it self. My favourite show of the week is The Livingroom, the family watches it together even the teenager, but 9.30 is just to late. Great show great cast it’s a was. 7.30 please and do you know what it rated

  6. American Idol is irrelevant here. Australian Idol went away, why would they think people would care about American Idol?

And The Living Room is actually a good show. Great casting, great segments, what on earth is it doing on so late and after American Idol?

  7. If you could David I’m after figures for: American Idol, The Living Room and Ten Late News.

Clearly disastrous all around, but I want to know how bad it got. Cheers!

  8. time to move American Idol to Eleven, i think. Same fate as Glee (from a few days ago!). 9.30 is too late for The Living Room. Needs to be back at 7.30. Friday’s ratings not good at all, if the Bold and the Beautiful can outdo them!
