Bojana Novakovic joins Rake (US)

Bojana Novakovic (Satisfaction, Edge of Darkness) is the latest Australian actress to join the US version of Rake.

Deadline reports she will play Mikki, a smart and spunky high-priced prostitute who’s had a five-year “relationship” with Keegan Joye, the lead role played by Greg Kinnear.

Will it be a trend to include locals in the US adaptation? Miranda Otto has already been cast.

Novakovic was born in Serbia but moved to Australia at the age of 7.
