  1. I’m glad Castle is back on Sunday. Interesting that it’s supposed to be on Tuesday too. I’ll admit I’m still not a fan of silly timeslots (everybody won’t die of shock about that 😉 ) . Although I do understand about why it occurs on Sunday. Just not most of the rest of the week (as it encourages non-live viewing especially scripted shows after 10.30pm). I’m glad however Seven are largely being truthful about it.

  2. They are probably trying to squeeze in the 8 remaining episodes of Rafters season 5 before Easter non-ratings.

Hopefully the full episodes will be available on the DVD release if Channel 7 prunes heavily for the 90-minute slot.

  3. They also had a 90-minute ‘double episode’ of Winners and Losers in Season 1. I think it was episodes 2 and 3. First ep was the normal length, the second only went for around half an hour

  4. I realise PTTR has 24 eps and they probably want to air them consecutively (as stated by head programmer) and follow with 22 eps of Winners and Losers, then they already have an excess of episodes for the Tuesday night 8:30 timeslot. Therefore they will need to show doubles occasionally. Expected them to be finale doubles.

  5. They may have made a 90 minute special episode of Packed to the Rafters and decided that it was too late to run Parenthood after it.

Then again the 10:15pm for Castle (rpt) could end up being later by next Tuesday because MKR or Packed To The Rafters turn out to be longer than listed.

  6. Seven have gone with Happy Endings, Against The Wall, Grimm and Up All Night, as late night programming.

So Suits, 30 Rock, Royal Pains and Fairly Legal will have to wait I guess.

  7. A repeat of The Proposal is an odd choice for the first week of ratings on a prime time Wednesday.

I saw that the 8:45 Packed to the Rafters dbl episode runs for 90 mins, and not 120mins, so I wonder if this will contain unnecessary heavy edits Perhaps Seven thought one of these episodes wasn’t that good so shortened it and connected it to a full episode.

  8. I’d be pissed if I was a Parenthood fan waiting months (after the US) for the show to return. Have I said how much I hate double episodes unless it’s an actual 2 parter?

Looking at the schedule it’s a week of doubles!

  9. So they are already having a week off from parenthood. No greys anatomy or the final season of private practice scheduled. Wondering also when they are going to schedule royal pains in the late night timeslot.
