19 Comments:

  1. Escape to the Country doing fine on Fridays….but too much else going on Sunday nights….I stilll watch…
Catchup TV for all other shows…..

  2. That program about the blade runner sounds like it was just trashy exploitation of a tragic situation. I was disgusted when I saw it advertised. Didn’t watch it. Just want to add I’ve never noticed any bias on David’s part towards any particular network in the several years I’ve been (religiously) reading this blog :-).

    • The Block: All Stars.

I also trumpeted MKR ratings and Seven’s ratings for winning last week only today. I’ve also criticised TEN. But don’t bother reading those, you’ll only see what you want to see. Disagree with my opinions by all means but don’t be selective.

  3. Castle 439k, it will pick up some +7s but still disastrous with Downton Abbey as a lead in. 900k viewers just flicked somewhere else, or pressed record.

How I Met Your Mother is doing almost as badly after Revenge on Monday nights. Channel 7’s staggered programming is blitzing the early evenings, but anything starting after 9:30pm is not getting many live viewers.

Bones, which was bumped to Thursdays because it was rating less than Castle, got 851k on Thursday.

Of course with Castle the Moonlight effect could be part of the reason, as could the fact the Downton Abbey and Castle, with is endless pop-culture references and in jokes, have different audiences.

    • kimj: I didn’t see the show and Nine’s tacky title didn’t interest me. Better to wait for courts to resolve this. Should I remind you there are over 25,000 posts on this site and plenty criticising Nine? Careful of pot, kettle, black…

  4. That rating for Modern Family is all 10’s fault..they had a hit show..and they just showed modern family repeats, and repeats, and repeats and the show is only in its 4th season.. they have driven that show into the ground.. if they only showed new episodes..then people would be excited to see it..and new episodes would be rating 1.2-1.3 million an episode.. shocking mismanagement by 10 with the 1 hit they had.
