A short film about the Sunrise Cash Cow is a finalist in Tropfest, set to screen on SBS this Sunday.
Ca$h Cow – a 63% True Story is written, produced and starring Sunrise staffer Adam Dunn, who has greeted guests, made coffee for the Sunrise presenters, and danced around in the Cash Cow suit for the last two years (what, and give up show business?)
He had to pull in a lot of favours to make the 7-minute short film, including convincing David Koch and Melissa Doyle to make a cameo appearance.
“Kochie and Mel were really open to the idea from the get-go. They improvised really well and were really good sports. It wouldn’t surprise me if Hollywood came knocking,” he said.
Melissa Doyle said, “We are so proud of Adam.
“He is on his way to movie stardom. Kochie and I on the other hand won’t be giving up our day jobs anytime soon!”
Tropfest screens Live 8:30pm Sunday on SBS ONE. The Sunrise Cash Cow appears regularly from 6am weekdays on Seven.

Wonder why Seven never showed it. Hope it goes well. Good to see SBS giving it a prime time slot.
