TEN’s spinning chairs to screen ahead of The Voice

See these spinning chairs? They're not on The Voice.

They’re not on The Voice.

Instead they are part of the FOX dating show The Choice, which is about to premiere on TEN’s multichannel ELEVEN.

The premise, which has been detailed here before, sees 4 celebrity (and we use that term lightly)singles in a Perfect Match-style show with a bunch of sexy singles. But instead of the old sliding wall, they have the spinning chair concept, made famous by NBC’s The Voice.

And like The Voice if more than one celebrity chooses a single then again the power shifts to the single. As you’d suspect it’s a very familiar format that will rollout ahead of The Voice. You can even see entire episodes on YouTube already….

Hosted by Cat Deeley, The Choice is the ultimate blind date with celebrity bachelors and bachelorettes competing for the hearts of attractive singles that they can’t see.

Kicking things off with the boys, singer Romeo, skiing legend Jeremy Bloom, reality star dJ Pauly d and actor Jason Cook are this week’s bachelors vying for love. With their chairs facing the audience, they will have to make their decision on the hopeful single girl by listening to her introduction, and the crowd’s reaction, alone.

8.30pm Tuesday February 12th on ELEVEN.
