A Moody Christmas is developing a second series, yet to be announced by the ABC.
Producers Jungleboys are planning to shoot another series later this year, following its success with audiences late last year.
TV Tonight understands Trent O’Donnell and Phil Lloyd are currently in LA having discussions about a possible US adaptation.
Meanwhile shooting has just finished on new sketch comedy The Elegant Gentleman’s Guide to Knife Fighting which has a speedy turn-around before hitting screens in April.
Producers are also taking clips from Elegant over to the US to see if there is a market for the show there as well.

I didn’t see the first screening, but saw the second screened over two nights around Christmas time and really enjoyed it. I wonder if the second season will focus on a different time of year?
Moody Christmas !
Loved it !
And an apt screening time in the lead up to last Xmas also.
Characters were awesome. Bring it on.
Why?
Talented fellows. Have loved Phil Lloyd in everything he’s done (Review w Myles Barlow, At Home w Julia, Moody Xmas).
