“The CW has had five great seasons with America’s favorite zip code, 90210,” said The CW president Mark Pedowitz. “I’d like to thank the talented cast, producers, and crew for all their hard work and dedication to the series. We are very proud of the West Beverly High alumni.”

The reboot of Beverly Hills 90120, debuted in September 2008 with Shenae Grimes, Tristan Wilds, AnnaLynne McCord, Jessica Stroup, Michael Steger, Jessica Lowndes and Matt Lanter. Some former Beverly Hills 90210 faces also made appearances.

It aired intermittently in Australia on ELEVEN.

The CW has already given renewals to Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries and Arrow but decisiosn on Nikita, The Carrie Diaries, Hart of Dixie and Beauty and the Beast starring Jay Ryan are yet to be made.

  1. Any idea if Channel 10 will start showing Beauty and the Beast at any stage??? I heard a while back that they had the rights to it and remember maybe even seeing an ad… but nothing has happened yet.

  2. This show is absolutely horrible and the worst piece of garbage to air in the past 20 years – I’m glad it was axed. Season one was okay but season two was absolutely woeful – the constant recurring character of Naomi’s sister was tiresome and the characters were one dimensional and the plots hilariously bad

    Gossip Girl was far better as a teen soap, but The OC leaves both in the wind

  3. I’m surprised it lasted that long, in light of how pretty terribly it rated in the US, but I didn’t mind it. Eleven screened season 2 on 5 pm Sundays last year, but have yet to show seasons 3 – 5, so are 3 years behind.

  4. Given it opened to average ratings (which slowly declined) and initial poor critical response the fact that they made it to 5 seasons is pretty impressive.
