Renewed: My Kitchen Rules

Seven is also calling for new contestants for a fifth season of My Kitchen Rules.

2013-03-11_1105No surprises here as Seven renews its hit Reality series My Kitchen Rules for a fifth season.

Seven is also calling for new contestants (it might help if you can be snarky towards your opposition, but they don’t specifically request it).

Team members must have a pre-existing relationship. E.g. friends, relatives, partners, be at least 18 years of age on 1 May 2013 and be an Australian citizen or have been a permanent resident of Australia for at least two years.

Channel Seven today announced a fifth series of its culinary delight, My Kitchen Rules, which currently has audiences glued to their TV screens four nights a week.

With average nightly audiences of 2.915 million (regional and metropolitan markets), MKR is the Number 1 show on Australian television in 2013. The show has also enjoyed international success with the format rights sold to UK broadcaster Sky who will film their own series.

My Kitchen Rules executive producer Rikkie Proost says: “MKR is an opportunity for Australia’s most passionate home cooks. Those people who love to spend the weekend experimenting in the kitchen, baking for their work colleagues and devouring the latest cookbooks. MKR is all about showcasing their flare and enthusiasm.”

Those home cooks who want a cooking adventure like no other are encouraged to apply and show Australia what they’re made of. If you and your teammate think you have what it takes in the kitchen, then head to www.mykitchenrules.com.au to apply. Filming will commence later this year.

Applications close May 31 2013.

  1. My partner is making dinner now, so I’ll walk in there and slag him off despite me having no idea what is involved. Then put in an application.
