Returning: Easter with The Australian Women’s Weekly

Nine presents another Easter crossover special, this time hosted by Jamie Durie.

Jamie_DurieThis Sunday Nine presents another Easter with The Australian Women’s Weekly, this time hosted by Jamie Durie.

While everyone is in the kitchen, Jamie and his team will be giving the Cromer Community Centre a much needed makeover. He will be reunited with his Backyard Blitz mate, landscaper Nigel Ruck, to create an amazing outdoor space for the centre. Also working with Jamie for the first time is his new fiancée, Lisa Christie, who will take care of the interiors.

Hosts of The Great Australian Bake Off on Nine, Shane Jacobson and Anna Gare, will be put to the test in the kitchen preparing Maggie Beer’s special slow-cooked Easter lamb.

Dan Lepard, award-winning baker, author and judge on The Great Australian Bake Off, will make his very own delicious hot cross buns.

Julie Goodwin cooks up an easy-to-make Mexican beef stew that is perfect if you’ve got a crowd to feed over the Easter break, served with guacamole and nachos sides.

The Voice’s Prinnie Stevens and her daughter, Sania, team up with The Weekly’s assistant food editor, Xanthe Roberts, to make and decorate Easter cake pops that kids of all ages will love.

And Jaynie Seal has some craft ideas to dress up your Easter egg hunt – cute carrot badges for the kids and bunny name tags for their egg baskets. Plus tips on how to make the Easter egg hunt even more fun, as well as the “do’s and don’ts” of buying the kids a real rabbit for Easter.

Sunday, March 24, at 6.30pm on Channel Nine.
