I’ve never understood why the ABC news update which runs 90 seconds is counted as a program in the ratings.
I agree with others here that Tractor Monkeys is dreadful. Such a wasted opportunity to build a program based on the ABC’s vast store of archival footage.
One thing I’ll say about you ghghgh etc.is you are most certainly an optimist. You’re not related to the long departed David Mott perchance?
If Ten’s shows were that brilliant they would all have a much larger audience than they do and would most certainly not require the spin that gushes forth from some of the blinkered fan boys.
When the ratings return 10 will remain where it has been all year, struggling to stay out of fourth place ahead of Aunty. Until they start presenting shows that appeal to the general population, they will stay where they have been for the past two years or more.
Thought Tractor Monkeys would have dropped out of the Top 20 but it got a bump in Adelaide. Agree that it is very ordinary.
The aptly-named The Last Resort has finally fallen out the bottom altho’ it will prob bounce back up in the +7’s.
Ratings don’t start again until 7 April.
Good numbers for Mr & Mrs Murder but watch it go back down next week.
Hot Property was a repeat or at least segments were because I had one of the segments before.
Good for Mr and Mrs Murder but I forgot it was on and watched Tractor Monkeys which I agree was terrible, uncomfortable to watch really.
The Agony Of Life has been terrific and I would love to see more of it. Cheap for the ABC to make too. The old girl in that is particularly good and I love her last words she’ll say before she dies; sh%t, f&#k, I’m not ready.
It is good 10 didn’t rest any of it’s shows over the easter break. it gives people a chance to watch the show they wouldn’t have normally watched during ratings period.
it also opens the show up to new people and gets to see how good they are and when the ratings come back they might watch them then.
i loved mr. and mrs murder and great casting. i know it doesn’t count towards their ratings and all but it showcases the brilliant shows 10 has and maybe will hold the audience next week when ratings are back
go 10!!
I’m not surprised Tractor Money’s isn’t doing very well. It’s appalling. When they bought on the line up last night I thought there isn’t a segment from Never Mind the Buzzcocks that the ABC hasn’t ripped off now.
Why doesn’t the ABC just buy Buzzcocks and then we can all have a good laugh.
Good to see Ten getting good numbers this week. A shame that it is non-ratings week. I am glad they kept Mr and Mrs Murder rather than ”resting it”, like most networks do when the Easter break comes up. It’s numbers improved.
Also, it’s a shame that Hot Property on Nine is isn’t doing that well. It used to rate well. Not anymore. And ABC’s Tractor Monkey’s aint doing that well either. I hope its a short season, for abc’s sake. Remember the long season of Randling last year….?
