Seven has scheduled the premiere of UK comedy Citizen Khan for Thursday night next week.
The series follows the trials and tribulations of self-appointed Muslim community leader Mr Khan and his long-suffering family. It stars its creator BBC radio and TV presenter Adil Ray.
It will be sandwiched between a new and a repeat episode of Mrs. Brown’s Boys at 9:10pm Thursday, April 18.
Plans are being made for Shazia’s forthcoming wedding to fiance Amjad. Mrs Khan’s on the warpath because Mr Khan’s forgotten to book the wedding venue, but it shouldn’t be a problem as long as he can persuade mosque manager Dave to do him a favour…

I actually thought that this had already been shown on Aus FTA (last year). Must be getting it mixed up with something else. Anyway, it is dreadful. Give me the Kumars any day.
Yeah, am looking forward to that one too. Citizen is just embarrassing to watch
time will tell jayfunk. the real show to watch on seven will be hannibal. thats getting great reviews in the states
The most un-funniest show I have seen in years, I did think the same about Mrs. Browns Boys and that rates well so who know… Will last 2 weeks if at all…
