Exhausted Ellen shows off Aussie trip

An exhausted Ellen DeGeneres screened the first of several Aussie packages in her show yesterday.

2013-04-04_0040An exhausted Ellen DeGeneres appeared in her first talk show yesterday since her visit to Australia.

But given her trip was sponsored by Swisse vitamins, it might not have been the best thing to tell her audience she was completely zonked.

She joked that she was still reeling from 2 days in Sydney, 2 in Melbourne and 4 days travelling.

“I got home on Wednesday and I cannot sleep. I get tired at about 3 or 4 in the afternoon …..(checks watch) so good luck everybody.”

Ellen screened the first of several Aussie packages that will continue to air across the week. Yesterday’s show showed her arrival in Sydney and a ferry trip.

“I just want to say to everybody in Australia, if you find my phone charger in my hotel room send it to me. I left it there,” she said.

“I learned a few things while I was there. I learned you can’t just walk up to people and ask to look in their pouches.

“While I was in Sydney I learned there was no street called 42 Wallaby Way like in Finding Nemo.”

DeGeneres also confirmed she will finally star in the sequel movie, Finding Dory for Disney.

The Ellen DeGeneres Show screens midday on Nine and 6:30pm on Arena.

  1. I don’t think even Swisse vitamins will help with jetlag. I would have thought 9 would show her shows filmed here in prime time, like 10 did with Oprah’s specials, not in the middle of the afternoon. Judging by all the people who turned up, I’m sure they would rate well.
