House Rules announces judges, resident designer and supervisor.

Four new faces join the cast of Seven's new renovation series House Rules.

S6_Chester & Carolyn_8808_RSeven has announced its judges, resident designer and build supervisor for upcoming renovation show House Rules.

Joining host Johanna Griggs are two judges, architect Joe Snell and Home Beautiful editor Wendy Moore.

Designer Carolyn Burns-McCrave and carpenter Chester Drife (pictured) will be overseeing the participants. There were early rumours of Tom Williams and even Jake Wall being part of the show.

The series comes from the producers of My Kitchen Rules and sees six teams hand over the keys to their homes to  their competitors, to renovate for “a life-changing prize.”

Seven is yet to announce a premiere date.

Joe Snell (Judge): A registered architect educated at the University of Sydney and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Copenhagen, who has received national design awards in retail, commercial, event and retail projects.

Wendy Moore (Judge): Wendy has worked in magazines for more than 20 years and is one of the foremost experts on style and design as the editor of Home Beautiful.

Carolyn Burns-McCrave (Designer): Carolyn has spent the last 15 years working as an interior designer and runs her own successful interior design business.

Chester Drife (Build Supervisor): Chester has been a carpenter for nearly two decades and runs his own carpentry and construction business.

  1. @ Kirk: Yes
@ Mr J: networks are still scared of promoting homosexuals, don’t recall the Amazing Race Australia having a gay couple, the Block has only had one! The pink $ as it is referred to, mustn’t make much impact even though the disposable income is much higher for those without children and receives less government subsidy.
    Just saying.

  2. Does anyone know if that male-male team in the promos is a gay couple? The snippets for every other team has ‘engaged’, ‘friends’ ect. But they don’t get a clip like that.

  3. What do Chester Drife, Tom Williams and Jake Wall have in common that would be sought after by this show? That’s right. Building credentials.
