LifeStyle YOU channel has more than a does of British stylist Gok Wan next month as it premieres Gok’s Style Secrets, and features Gok’s Clothes Roadshow series two plus a one off special Gok Wan: Made in China.
There will also be replays of Gok: Too Fat, Too Young, How to Look Good Naked and Gok’s Teens: The Naked Truth.
Gok’s Style Secrets series one premieres Wednesdays May 15 at 8:30pm and see’s Gok Wan reveal his secrets for looking good.Throughout this six-part, one-hour series, he helps some of Britain’s 15 million singletons and gets them looking and feeling their best to attract the opposite sex. In each episode, Gok is the personal stylist, flirting coach, wingman, agony uncle and matchmaker for one singleton. From head to toe, he transforms their clothes, hair, makeup, self-confidence and flirting skills. Featuring Gok’s own ‘how to guide’ for attracting the opposite sex, advice on what to wear and jaw-dropping transformations, this new series take his unrivalled skill at making-over women to a whole new level.
In Gok’s Clothes Roadshow series two the style icon helps cash-strapped Britons look fabulous without spending a fortune. Premiering Thursday May 2 at 8.30pm, this brand new five-part, one-hour series, sees the sultan of style take his self-styled brand new catwalk show, ‘Supermarket Chic vs. High Street’, on the road, delivering show-stopping looks and gob-smacking transformations, while showing us all how to dress with confidence on a budget.
In the one-hour special, Gok Wan: Made in China, premiering Thursday May 2 at 9.30pm, Gok returns to his ancestral home to explore the largely unseen world of Chinese mass production. He visits the villages his father grew up in for the first time and meets people working in factories that supply the West, as part of a journey of discovery round a country that now produces one in every four man-made objects on the planet.
