    Sorry to say it looks like 7’s sheer contempt for the EPG and their reliant viewers, and now with the increasing frequency and the use of ‘ TBA’ it now seems their disrespect towards us viewers, has been stepped up to one of “Total Bloody Arrogance” unfortunately not only towards us their viewers, but also giving a big “Up Yours” to ACMA, who will do ANAI “Absolutely “Nothing About It”

You shouldn’t have to warn people David if they don’t want to find out who the winner is then it is simple don’t go on tv related websites or On social media until you have watched the grand final it really annoys me when people whinge about finding out who the winner is before they have watched it

  4. @Mac – Simple solution – watch TV, not the Internet – until the show’s over. It’s a two- hours show so WA will start before it ends in the east.

  5. Now, if only no one would send any stupid, very distracting, generally unreadable “tweets”. Please?
    Realise it would have been a long break, but why wouldn’t they record the GF this afternoon, with the final segment/announcement “live”?

  6. Is anyone else having EPG problems for channel 7?
    Mine is showing a lot of “program TBA” in the prime time slots this week (presumably where Celebrity Splash, MKR etc will be going).

  8. Mac, while I would like to offer a customised site according to user preferences, I am using a WordPress template so there are limits, especially with a free site. With a subscription site I could probably look at more features including what you’re suggesting. Given the majority (East Coast) will see the results at the same time and other media will be reporting, it’s easier for individuals to adjust their use as per their viewing.

  10. I have no clue when it comes to website maintenance, but would it be possible for future similar stories to ‘time delay’ release of certain webpages according to timezone if we’ve logged in?
    For example, I log into TVTonight and am welcomed by name by a friendly message in the top right corner. If the site recognises I am in WA, could it not show me a page with the results until after it’s been broadcast in WA? Or is this just a madman’s dream?

  13. When I was setting the PVR to record A Place To Call Home a couple of nights ago, the EPG said a start time of 8.44pm. It also said both Revenge and PTTR were starting at 9.09pm after Celebrity Splash.. definitely not the times Seven has been advertising them at.

  14. Are we confident that all will be revealed, done and dusted by 8.30pm? I see that A Place is in the schedule for an 8.30 kick off, but do we trust MKR not to overrun, even though it is pre-filmed?
