  1. @steveany 2.0 – no, it’s just that I’m secretly a bushy-tailed, nut-loving, puzzle-solving rodent. That’s the beauty of internet anonymity. And I’m not wearing any pants right now (although I do have on a rather fetching blue jacket with gold trim and big brass buttons).

  2. David, with respect and affection, are you sure “banality” was the word you were looking for? (Apologies if you were being ironic and I missed it!)

  3. @Secret Squirrel.
    Aw, shucks. Now I’m embarrassed….
Honestly, I don’t comment all that much these days because I’m afraid of sounding too much like your personal cheerleader!
BTW, I’ve always wondered – you wouldn’t be so obvious as to have chosen ‘Secret Squirrel’ (the cartoon) as the source of your epithet, so I assume that your non de plume is based on the first B52 mission to Iraq in Gulf War 1 – ‘Operation Secret Squirrel’. Right?

And yes, imho AD is one of the few absolute top shelf sitcoms.

  4. Yesington, a comedy good enough to cause Steveany to comment has to be worth watching. The writing of the previous series’ was consistently sharp and the comic timing of the cast was impeccable. Def looking fwd to this.

  5. My guess is that FX on Foxtel will play it shortly. They’ve been playing double eps of Season 3 Monday nights at the moment, which when they finish, will be a few days outside of NetFlix’s launch. Then we wait 2 – 3 weeks and they’ll show Season 4.

    My guess, anyway.

  6. Can’t wait.
Just when I thought nothing would lure me back to FTA TV this comes along.
Gee I hope the ABC takes it up instead of a commerical channel. Which will, of course, spoil my fun with late starts, midnight slots, bumping to different nights, too many ads, back-to-back episodes and the inevitable premature yank because it isn’t rating well (entirely due to how badly it will have been treated by the network).
