More rumours on Underbelly: Mokbel
That rumour on Tony Mokbel for the next Underbelly story gathers more moss.

Last November TV Tonight told you that Screentime was mulling the tale of Tony Mokbel as the next instalment of Underbelly.
Today The Age reports “….word is trickling out that the next instalment of the true-crime saga will focus on Mokbel and revisit some of the so-called gangland killings, with several of the characters and the actors who played them in the original Underbelly in 2008 expected to reprise their roles. It is understood the new series is being cast at present and will start filming in August.”
Let’s hope Underbelly: Squizzy gets to air first.
No word on who will play the dodgy wig.

I love Underbelly, so look forward to this. I remember reading after Razor, that the next one was going to be set in Qld, but then last year we got Badness. Wonder when they will do that one.
yes!!! i love Underbelly ,More UB good news!!!
More UB? There I was hoping for a fresh, new crime franchise. Silly me. Fingers crossed for next year.
Let’s glamorise another thug.
It’s been announced that Robert Mammone has left H&A, so there’s a good chance he will reprise the Tony Mokbel role.
Left field casting suggestion, but how about George Kapiniaris as Mokbel? They look strikingly similar. Not sure he can act though (see the dodgy RAA commercials).
Robert Mammone played him in first UB.
