Season Five begins 10:30pm Monday May 20th replacing Californication. This began in the US in April.

“Happy F**King Birthday”
In the season premiere, Jackie tries to convince her estranged husband to let their kids spend the day with her. Meanwhile, a bus accident floods the ER with emergency patients.

  1. I would have thought Tuesday night would be better, as part of girls night. Monday night is guys night. couldn’t Californication and Nurse Jackie be paired together with Dexter from 10:30-11:30? instead of a Cheers repeat at 11 or something?

  4. Although I’m thrilled Nurse Jackie is coming back, I had hoped Eleven would continue straight into Season 6 of Californication once S5 finishes next week. It’s already aired in its entirety in the US so not sure why we’re being made to wait, again.

    There is so little on Eleven to watch – can’t we have new Nurse Jackie and Californication please?

  5. Nurse Jackie should be OK in a 10:30pm slot.
    Even when it didn’t rate well enough for earlier slots Eleven just moved it to a later slot and showed whole series.

  6. Hooray! Better late than never. Now Eleven, regardless of the ratings and for the sanity of your viewers, keep NJ in the same time slot on the same day! Not too much to ask?
